The Giant Humpheaded Wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus), also called Napoleon Wrasse or Maori Wrasse is a resident of reefs from the Red Sea to the Tropical Pacific.  Maximum recorded size of these fish is 227cm (7.4 feet) in length and 190.5 kg (approx. 420 pounds).  Facial patterns appear to be unique to individuals.  (This is one of my favorite subjects, if you can't tell.  These fish make great models.)

Immature Humpheaded Wrasses are much lighter in color, lack much of the facial patterning, and lack the distinctive hump on the head.  Their pattern camouflages them while the are in shallower parts of the reef and they are much more wary of divers.
